The way we think about certain events happens so quickly that it can seem like it’s the only way to respond. Some of our inner dialogue is so routine, or so convincing, that it feels inevitable—at least at first.
Today I’m sharing with you a coaching client who noticed that a thread of thought was distracting her from what she really wanted to focus on. You’ll hear how you can redirect in the moment, and a powerful practice to intentionally direct your mind before you get caught up in a web of compelling distraction.
